I'd like to think I'm a morning person... Until I decide to hit that snooze button. FOUR TIMES. Wake up an hour later. Get out of bed another hour after. It's terrible I'm telling you. I also like to take my time getting ready each day. Just hate the feeling of being rushed (although I still kind of do even when I start getting ready early)! When I used to work from home, I can tell you it was very tempting to sleep in during the week. There are days when getting up is just as big of a struggle as it was when I commuted to work. Now that I'm back in the retail world, I'm still adjusting on how to get out of bed faster. So in order to stay productive and force myself to get up and moving, I set my alarm at 9AM every day even on weekends. No matter how late I sleep the night before.
Unless I have appointments or an early shift at work, I wake up around the same time each day. I give myself about 15-30 minutes to check my phone to mentally prepare myself. Then I get out of bed, shower, get dressed, put on my makeup, and do my hair. Another key part of my recent morning routine is that I always have to eat breakfast. Whether it's a bacon/egg sandwich or a piece of fruit, I'm training myself to eat something every morning.
You may remember that I mentioned on Instagram that I'm partnering with Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies. As a result, taking my vitamins after breakfast has become an additional step in my morning routine. Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin & Nails Gummies were created for women, by women, to provide a unique way to help support your natural beauty from within. This is one of the reasons why I'm a very proud partner with them. They contain Vitamin C, Vitamin E, and Biotin, so they help support your hair and skin, and maintain your nails. In addition to having these health benefits, they are delicious strawberry-flavoured gummies, so they've been easy to integrate into my routine. It's still too soon to have seen results, but I expect to notice improvements in my nails first. I'll definitely keep you posted!
