Navy & White Two Piece

There was a time when all I shop for was maxi skirts and maxi dresses. This summer's weather has skyrocketed up to 35 degrees (Us, Torontonians, aren't used to this! Or maybe it's just me.) so I don't get to wear them all the time. Just because when it's hot and humid out, I like to keep my legs bare. For this particular day though, I wanted to give my maxi skirt some love. I decide to wear it with it's matching top to make it look like I'm wearing a maxi dress. They are actually two separate pieces. Fooled ya!

Because It's A Sunny Day

I woke up to the sun shining brightly on my face this morning. I had planned to sleep in till around noon but ended waking up two hours earlier. As usual, I decided to stay in bed for a good hour. Just rolling around, checking my phone, and contemplate in life (just kidding! i pretty much stare at the ceiling).

Then I had my cup of coffee and I'm ready to start my day. So as I'm writing this post, my cup is already full of nothing. Empty. Which reminds me of a photo I found on Facebook and posted it on my Instagram. It says, "PROCAFFEINATING: the tendency to not start anything until you've had a cup of coffee."

Well, that word just sums up my everyday life.

A Hidden Courtyard

There are many hidden gems around the city; one of them is the University of Toronto campus. It has such great history and for all Harry Potter fans out there, this is the perfect place for you. Its walls and chambers has a Hogwarts feel. Dating from the 19th century, the architecture is described by a combination of Romanesque and Gothic Revival building spread across the campus. I haven't completely explored the university's grounds. With its green spaces and many interlocking courtyards, the university forms a distinct region of urban parkland in the heart of downtown Toronto.

On Wednesdays, I Wear Pink

As a forever Mean Girls fan, this post is inspired by the movie. **points to the title** And if things can get any more coincidental... I am currently also wearing a pink shirt while I write this. Funny eh? I actually didn't realize this until right now. Anyway, for the past few weeks or months or specifically this season, I have been loving every shade of pink. I've always perceived it as a very girly colour in the past, but now I consider it to be a little more mature. Pairing it with black is one of my favourite combinations.

Mixing Prints: Grey Tones

I never knew I'd have this obsession with hats in this year's fall/winter season. I'm not really a hat type of girl even when there's crazy snow outside. I never wear them due to the fact that I don't like to ruin my hair. As soon as I wear a toque or beanie or whatever you call it, I can never take it off because it makes my hair look flat.

Country Vibe

The wind is colder and the days are shorter.. It's time to take out those knee high boots and cozy cardigans!

Dresses are definitely one of my staple pieces for the fall season. It's such a good transition piece paired with knee high boots and a long cardigan. So no need to worry for those chilly nights, you're still covered!

Centre Point

Yet again another overdue post. I went all the way to Niagara Falls with the closest of my friends for my birthday weekend. It was indeed a very fun two-day one-night trip.
