Complemetary Colours

Seems like Toronto has skipped Spring this year. After a few days of freezing cold and snow about two weeks ago, the temperature suddenly skyrocketed to the twenties!! I'm not kidding. Definitely shorts weather today. Though not my point.. What matters most is that the sun is shining to brightly right now! I feel very much inspired to begin wearing lots and lots of colours.

Cargo Trench Vest

Summer season is over. You know what that means? Fall(ing leaves) season is here! I have a love/hate relationship with this time of year because we have chilly mornings and nights, but during the day it gets a bit too warm. The solution to that? Layers. Layers. Layers. And I don't mean layers of fat (which is also possible in preparation for the cold winter months). What I mean is layers of clothes for the fall season.

Blue, Red, and White

Sunny days are definitely here. I read on the news that warm weather is here to stay as golf courses are set to open this week. And this time, mother nature is on our side for good! ( FINALLY ! ) Toronto has been having two-digit temperatures and I hope this is just a start. I haven't put away my coats as of yet just because it still gets a bit chilly during nighttime. Better to be safe than sorry, right?

Goodbye Winter... Please

Winter hasn't completely left us! This past weekend, we've been deceived by Toronto's weather yet again. Saturday was supposed to be sunny. However, by late afternoon, snow started to fall from the sky and had covered our paths a white blanket overnight. Although a snowfall is a beautiful thing to experience, spring is a couple of weeks away so please no more of this cold weather!

This didn't stop me from taking an outfit post outside though. Because it was almost the end of the day and the sky was filled with grey clouds, I decided to wear a pop of colour to brighten the view. I opted for this cobalt blue coat which really stood out within this vast white snowfield. I added a few extra layers to keep me warm and kept my accessories minimal.

New Year's Eve 2014

GOODBYE 2014, HELLO 2015
I know I probably say this all the time but the year went by so quickly! My schedule has been really hectic and I never had the time to do anything else. On my days off, I usually stay at home.

This New Year's Eve I had my mind set up that I will be avoiding the downtown area at any cost. I figured it's going to be super crazy with all the parties going on plus the fireworks. So my sister and I decided to spend it at a family friend's house. Which was actually a good idea. I enjoyed the quietness of the suburbs. I opted for this printed bodycon dress that I bought the day before. It kind of pulled this outfit at the last minute due to the fact that it goes very well with the cobalt blue jacket.
