MERRY CHRISTMAS 2015

Just wanted to quickly check in and wish you all a very Merry Christmas! This year I decided to switch to a blue, white, and silver theme for the holidays (see my DIY decorations here and here). Christmas is the perfect time for me to reflect, count my blessing, and show my appreciation to the people around me and supporting me with everything I do. Although I feel like this year did not feel like Christmas at all. Mainly because Toronto hasn't seen any snow yet! Well.. we did for like five seconds. Not having a white Christmas is just like any other holiday. I guess snow makes it feel very special. Other than that, not complaining though as I am loving this mild weather very much. Enjoy the rest of the holidays!

It's TEN DAYS before Christmas.. Have you finished decorating for the holidays yet? Fear not. This week I will be showing you three easy Christmas decor ideas you can create yourself! There's not a lot of materials needed so you'll be done in no time. Today's DIY is a Lighted Burlap Garland. Very simple and easy to make. I finished mine within two episodes of 2 Broke Girls. That's less than an hour! ;)

Wear Monochrome White

When I don't wear colour, I do it monochrome! A full monochromatic look may seem a little risky but if it's done right, they can look like very effortless and put together. The key is incorporating different textures when dealing with one colour. Not only you'd want each piece to be unique but should also be cohesive. This prevents you from looking like a solid block of colour. I paired this jogger-like, cargo-style pant with a white button down shirt that has a grid pattern. As for shoes, I opted for a navy stripe print to tie the outfit from head to toe. Finish it off with a faux leather jacket for a look that's both edgy and cool.

PHOTO DIARY | Old Town Toronto

If you've hung out with me or have known me for a while, you know the extent of my love for food. Let's rewind during Toronto Fashion Week back in October.. I met a lot (and I mean A LOT) of fashion bloggers that season. One in particular is Darlene Anderson of The New Girl. I got too excited to meet a fellow Filipina blogger in the city. We've been friends since then. And what do bloggers do when they become actual friends? SET A LUNCH DATE. And we did.. Here's our food adventures during the day!

Fifty Shades of Green

Can you believe it's December? Definitely felt like time flew by in one snap. Maybe because so much has happened in my life this year that I haven't even noticed the little things. So the countdown begins ..
