PHOTO DIARY | NYC Day 1

Here's the moment we've all been so anxious about. Or is it just me? Either way, I am very much excited to share with you my trip to the Big Apple a couple of weeks ago! I've been dreaming of visiting this city and the day has come. Our first day there was pretty chill. We booked an early morning flight just so we can have at least half a day of exploring the neighbourhood and be familiar with the streets and the subway.

We arrived to our place just a bit past noon and the view was amazing!! Definitely feels like you're in the big city. SKYSCRAPERS EVERYWHERE. What's very adorable with this view was I found a bunch of rooftop patios all around. It's nice to have a space to get away from the hustle and bustle down on the streets.

After settling in the apartment, we decided to spend a few hours walking through Central Park. It's only five blocks away from our place, which was great! It's amazing how once you're inside the park, there's no way you'll be able to hear the loudness of the busy streets. It's like a silent sanctuary in the middle of the city. Such a great place to unwind and get a breath of fresh air. Lots and lots and lots of trees.

After that, we headed down along 5th Ave. Did some shopping. Then we went out for dinner at The Supply House. It felt like such a short day but what else are two girls gonna do on the first day in the big city for the first time with no one we know? So we played it safe.
