City Sleek Chic x The Individualist

’Tis the season to be jolly. Christmas is over and we haven't experienced major snow yet. Very thankful for that but frightening at the same time. All other things aside and not talk about the weather, I had a chance to meet up with Shafi of The Individualist Toronto for a collaboration on a Day-to-Night outfits.

The first outfit is for the ladies that don’t have that much colour in their wardrobe. It’s very easy to transform a simple black and white ensemble. From running errands during the day then spending the night out on the town, achieving that downtown vibe is all about looking effortlessly cool. Just switch up your blazer to a leather jacket and you’re ready to leave the office!

Onto the second look! The next one has sporty chic written all over that is definitely made for the cool-downtown girl. Got this top from the store called Dahlia when I flew to New York for the first time back in June this year. It’s been sitting in my closet since I purchased it and this was an opportunity to finally show it off. Change from flat boots to heeled booties and you’re ready to walk the bright downtown streets!

Last but not least, my favourite out of all three, an oversized turtleneck dress. Perfect when going out for brunch on a Saturday morning. Plus, it’s one of those outfits where you don't have to think too much about it. Just tie a denim or plaid shirt around your waist and you’re out the door within five minutes! You can enjoy a nice walk by the lake or go out shopping. Since you’ve already been out and about, put on a leather jacket to add more layers and keep you warm during night time.

  2. Agreed, sweater dresses are the easiest (and one of the chicest) outfits to wear! I lived in them back in university. I can't believe there's no snow in Toronto though! That really is scary.
